Low Income Smart Thermostat Program
AGREEMENT REGARDING LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION
I agree that PGW and its contractor may enter the Property listed above to inspect it and install an ENERGY STAR certified smart thermostat, as they deem appropriate.
If an ENERGY STAR certified smart thermostat is installed at the Property, I agree to keep the smart thermostat in place for a period of at least one year. I further commit to making a good-faith effort to adopt the thermostat settings that are recommended by PGW or its contractor, and which are intended to reduce energy use while maintaining comfortable temperatures.
LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION:
I, on behalf of myself, my estate, and my heirs hereby release, waive, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Philadelphia Gas Works, Philadelphia Facilities Management Corporation, and the City of Philadelphia and their respective owners, officers, directors, and employees from any and all known and unknown, foreseen and unforeseen bodily and personal injuries, death, illness, damage to property (including without limitation, environmental damage), and any and all other losses claims, costs, liabilities and damages and any consequences thereof arising out of or in any way associated with work performed by PGW, PGW’s contractors or any entity with whom PGW shares information as provided above.
I agree that there have been no representations or warranties regarding work performed on my home made to me by PGW or its agents.
