What is the PGW EnergySense Residential Roof Insulation & Air Sealing Rebate?
- the square footage of the installation area,
- the finished R-value of the insulation, and
- whether air sealing was performed along with the roof insulation.

The above listed Participating Contractors are partnering with PGW to issue instant discounts to customers who use their services to install residential roof insulation and air sealing. Customers applying for a rebate may use BPI certified contractors other than the ones listed here, but only the above listed contractors are approved by PGW to issue the rebates as instant discounts.

REBATE APPLICATIONS FOR HOMEOWNERS
PGW customers can apply for Residential Roof Insulation & Air Sealing Rebates if the installation meets the criteria outlined in the table below.
If your insulation was installed by a PGW EnergySense Participating Contractor and you have already received the rebate in the form of an instant discount from that contractor, you may not receive another rebate for the same installation from the PGW EnergySense program.

R-Value refers to the thermal resistance capability of the insulation material. Pre and post photos are required by the program to receive rebates. Using a PGW Participating Contractor is not required to receive a rebate.
Information for Contractors
PGW is working with local insulation and air sealing installation companies to assist residential customers interested in making energy-saving upgrades to their homes. PGW will offer a cash rebate to customers who install roof insulation and air sealing in their homes. Participating Contractors are approved by PGW to offer “instant rebates” to customers – PGW will then reimburse those verified costs by paying out the rebates directly to the Participating Contractor. Participating Contractors will be listed on the program website (www.PGWEnergySense.com) so customers can connect with them easily.
